The sun beats down relentlessly as I survey my surroundings. There's not a drop of fresh water to be found anywhere and my stomach is growling with hunger. I know I need to find food and shelter fast if I want to survive on this island.I spot some coconuts up in a tree and wasted no time scrambling up to get them. After quenching my thirst, I set about gathering materials to build a shelter. It's hard work in the hot sun, but eventually I have a crude lean-to that will give me some protection from the elements.
Now that I have somewhere to sleep, I turn my attention to finding food. The island is littered with shells and seaweed, so I know there must be something edible here somewhere. After scouring the beach for awhile, I'm rewarded with a few small fish that I manage to catch in a makeshift net.
As night falls, I'm exhausted but feel like I've accomplished what I needed
