And to move a number to the right, press the right arrow key."2048 is quite simple: just use your arrow keys to slide tiles around until you get two tiles with matching numbers next to each other. When that happens, they combine into one tile with their combined value! The goal is obviously to keep going until you hit 2048—but it's not as easy as it sounds. Every turn, new tiles appear randomly on the board, so you have to be strategic about which moves you make in order to keep things under control and give yourself some breathing room. But don't worry, if you get stuck there's always Undo (or try one of our handy tips).
